Quiz answer
A special thanks to the Connors who have already done the quiz and spotted the wrong answer. The answer to Question 5 is cycling not rugby.
My apologies everyone :)

Another Happy Birthday!
Goodness me, three birthday posts in one day.
Oscar had his 7th birthday on Tuesday but unfortunately was not here to celebrate it with the pod! We hope you had an awesome day, Oscar.

Noho Marae Visit
On Monday 31st October we will be visiting Te Hotu Manawa Marae. This is a whole school initiative over a few days and we are really excited about it. To cover the costs of transportation, your child will have $5.00 added to their account. We will possibly be asking for parent helpers when we have more information about what this day will look like so keep the date free if you wish to come along.
3 Way Conferences
It was great to spend time with so many families these last few days and share your child's learning with you. Thank you for making the effort to come and show your child that you value them and their achievements. Tu meke Whanau.

3 Way Conferences
Kia Ora Whanau
We start our 3 Way Conferences this afternoon. Please remember that these are student led conferences so your child needs to be there and they will be doing most of the talking.
Can't wait to see you all

Student Led Conferences
Hi Whanau
We are still waiting for a lot of people to book school interviews via the website - www.schoolinterviews.co.nz.
Please make sure you do this ASAP so that we can get everything organised for your child's conference.
Can't wait to see you there and celebrate your child's success with you and with them.

Our Kids in Action
I have finally worked out how to put things on the blog so they are easier to see. Yay.
I have created a 'Kids in Action' page where we will upload photos at times. We won't take these photos down - we will just put the new ones at the top of the previous slides.
We hope you enjoy seeing your children doing what they love to do :)

Sentence Structure
We can all write simple and compound sentences but we don't actually know that we are writing them. Here is the resource the children have been using this week to learn the difference between the two.
